Deborah Freedman is an architect and author/illustrator who lives with her family in Connecticut. Her first picture book, SCRIBBLE, was published by Knopf in 2007. SCRIBBLE has been listed as a Book Sense Children's Pick, a Best Book by the Association of Booksellers for Children, one of the 10 Best Children's Books of 2007 by the Rocky Mountain News, and the Best "Under the Radar" Picture Book for 2007 by School Library Journal's Fuse #8.
