- Blue Chicken is now online at We Give Books, a free website that enables anyone with access to the Internet to put books in the hands of children who don't have them, simply by reading online. "The more you read, the more we give."
- I also feel very honored that Blue Chicken has popped up on these year-end blog lists: A Fuse#8 Production's "100 Magnificent Children’s Books of 2011" and "Top Reads of 2011" at Waking Brain Cells.
